Guru Virjanand Gurukul Mahavidyalaya, Kartarpur, located in the birthplace of Guru Virjanand Ji, has been teaching Sanskrit for the last 50 years. At present, arrangements are being made for the education, food, accommodation etc. of about 200 students. Such arrangements are praiseworthy and a blessing for the society. In the present times, the teaching of Sanskrit is becoming compulsory. Sanskrit has played an important role in Indian culture. The aim of Indian scriptures has been to inculcate socially orderly virtues like truth and non-violence in a person. Make Sanskrit a common language. Daily use of Sanskrit language gives a special kind of energy. This energy infuses brilliance, forgiveness, patience and purity in the personality. One gets rid of vices like animosity and pride, which establishes happiness, peace and social harmony in the society. Bharatbhoomi has been leading in providing scholars, thinkers, thinkers, wise men and scientists to the world. Sanskrit will create an environment of peace and harmony in the world and the feeling of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam will be truly felt.
