EDUCATIONAL TOUR OF GURUKUL

Educational tour is not just an educational activity but a program of goodwill towards the society. This was stated by Dr. Udayan Arya, Principal of Guru Virjanand Gurukul Mahavidyalaya, Kartarpur. Speaking about the educational trip organized by the Gurukul, he said that such trips allow students to gain knowledge of various subjects through direct experience. The educational trip was held from March 30th to April 1st. During the trip, the students first visited Science City in Kapurthala. On the second day, the students visited numerous places in Amritsar, including Jallianwala Bagh, the Golden Temple, and Durgiana Temple. At Jallianwala Bagh, they paid homage to the sacrifices made during India's freedom struggle. Lunch was served collectively at Durgiana Temple.

In the evening, the Gurukul students attended the parade at the Wagah Border, where they strengthened their patriotic spirit with patriotic slogans and songs. They then visited the museum located there, where they learned about Indian defense equipment.

India is the land of sages and saints, so finally, the students also visited the Maharishi Valmiki Temple in Amritsar. Throughout the entire trip, the students chanted slogans like "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," "Vande Mataram," and "Jai Shri Ram." At the end of the trip, the Principal thanked all the teachers for their full cooperation. Shri Kamaldeep Sharma, Shri Jeevan Jyot, Shri Jitendra, Shri Shubham Sharma, and other teachers were present on this educational trip.
